I have always been a fan of fitness. Whenever I could find time, I would spend about 30 minutes doing Yoga or, just dancing in my room.

So when it came to joining a gym and working out, my obvious choice was aerobics.

Why?

Oats Energy Bites

Because if it had got anything to do with dancing on one of your favorite dance numbers, I would never get bored. In fact, I feel really good when I dance to my favorite tune. And when I am dancing I would keep everything aside and just dance.

I am not a great dancer though. I have always believed that to dance, you do not need to be a good dancer. You just need to know how to tap your feet to the beats. And if you can do that, you can dance.

Forget about everything around you. Forget about what people around you might be thinking about you and your dance. Just listen to the music and dance.

Energy Bites

The 30 minutes I used to spend dancing (whenever I got time) helped me stay fit and flexible. I was able to get rid of the stiffness in my body and that in turn be more confident.

So eventually, I decided I will join an aerobics class and I did join one a few months back. One hour of sweat and workout and you feel so good throughout the day.

Something that I realized after I joined aerobics was the need to plan my diet. I had to supplement my body with energy but at the same time I had to ensure that I am not eating junk.

And that is where my quest for energy foods started.

One such thing that I keep making as part of these energy foods is energy bites. And today’s recipe is one such energy bite that is quick to make and you can just pop 2 of that into your mouth, if you feel hungry.

Oats Energy Bites

I have used Oats in this recipe because of the fiber content that it provides. I have used Chocos, but you can use Corn Flakes as well, if you prefer.

Oats and Corn flakes are part of my daily breakfast and hence I prefer using this in most of my energy bites.

Oats Energy Bites

The overall making time for this recipe would hardly be about 10 minutes and you can store it and use it for upto 3-4 days. You can store it in the refrigerator for longer shelf life.
