Soya Chunks Cutlet Recipe is a nice tea time snack, which is easy to make and tasty as well. You can sandwich it between two slices of bread with some mayonnaise spread in between.

Once again she is left with a lot of questions about Santa and his visit – Who is he, where does he come from etc…This year again she was waiting eagerly for Santa to come and every one of the nights until Christmas eve, before sleeping she would pray to god about everything that she would want Santa to bring for her, this year.

For the last two year, the Santa was none other than her dad. Yes, on Christmas eve my hubby would dress up like Santa and bring gifts for her. But this time it was not him. Do you know why?????

The last two Christmas when he became Santa, my daughter had a doubt on where her father goes, whenever Santa comes to meet her. Though we tried to reason it out by giving some or, the other excuse, she was never convinced. Kids are smarter than us, you see.The last year, she noticed the ring in his hand and told her Dad that Santa was wearing the same kind of ring that he wears. And we had to cook up another story for her. Her dad explained to her that Santa takes the looks of people that she loves and that is why he was wearing a ring similar to that of her dad’s.

She took it, but again with some element of doubt.

Hence, this time we had to ensure that we do it a little different and that we do not repeat the mistakes from the last year. After all she is growing and fooling her was becoming all the more difficult. But we wanted to keep the surprise, at least for another year.

So this time we told her uncle to play the role of Santa for her. And we ensured that he is covered from top to bottom with the mask and gloves on. So that she does not have any doubt again. I played the Jingle bell song on our sound system and the whole mood was real good.

I felt really good, it was like a fairy tale moment for every one of us. 🙂

And finally Santa came and she stood there at the door, stunned and awed with her hands spread out, waiting for Santa to shower her with all the gifts and chocolates he had got for her. She was happier this time round because her dad was just beside her witnessing all that was happening. That was what she had wanted always.I just can’t forget her expression at that moment. I missed taking a videos of that moment. 🙁 Somehow I was able to click a few pictures which didn’t come out that good due to the darkness in the room. We had to deliberately darken the room so that she is unable to recognize the man behind the Santa.

Another Christmas with loads of fun and love.

How was your holidays? Did you go out somewhere or, enjoyed the holiday at home itself?

Soya Chunks Cutlet Recipe

I have long been planning to make this recipe. I had tried it out some time back and since then I have been planning this video.

I have used Soya Chunks kheema in this recipe. In fact, all that I did was soak the soya chunks for some time and then grind it in a mixer grinder. I don’t prefer buying Soya kheema from the stores because of the possibility of it being adulterated.

It took less than 15 minutes to make this soya chunks cutlet recipe excluding the time it took to boil the potatoes and soaking the soya chunks.

This is a nice recipe that kids will like. My daughter wouldn’t otherwise eat soya chunks, but this recipe was a nice way to make her eat soya. You can serve it along with tomato sauce or, if you prefer, with green chutney.
