Ingredients
2cupsFull Cream Milk
2tbspCustard Powder
3tbspCold Milk
1/4cupSugar
1/4tspCardamom Powder
1/4cupBananachopped
1/4cupPomegranate seeds
1/4cupApplechopped
Instructions
Heat milk in a thick bottomed pan.
Boil milk stirring occasionally.
While the milk is boiling, take about 2 tbsp of custard powder in a bowl.
Add 3-4 tbsp of milk and mix well.
Stir continuously, making sure there are no lumps formed in it.
Once the milk has boiled, turn off the flame and pour the prepared custard mixture into it.
Add sugar to it. (you can adjust the amount of sugar as per your taste).
Mix continuously, keeping the flame on low.
Boil until the milk changes colour to dark yellow and thickens slightly.
You can cook longer to adjust the consistency.
Once done transfer to a small bowl and let it cool down.
Once it gets cold add the prepared chopped fruits of your choice.
Add cardamom powder and mix gently.
Serve fruit custard chilled.
Notes
You can use any flavor of custard powder to prepare a mixed fruit custard recipe.
Ensure to turn off the flame before adding custard to milk, else they will form lumps.
Try to add fruits of your choice just before serving chilled custard milk.
