Naan Bread Recipe

Ingredients

  • Coconut Flour - 3/4 cup
  • Psyllium Husk Powder - 2 tablespoon ground
  • Baking Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Melted Coconut Oil - 1/3 cup
  • Boiling Water - 2 cups
  • Coconut Oil - for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl add all the dry ingredients.
  2. Add oil and mix it well.
  3. Add boiling water and stir thoroughly. Let it rise for 5 minutes.
  4. The dough will turn firm quickly, but stay flexible.
  5. You can add more psyllium husk, if the dough is runny.
  6. Divide the dough into 6 or 8 pieces and make a round balls out of it.
  7. Now on a rolling board or on the kitchen counter, flatten the ball with your hands.
  8. Heat tawa or frying pan and smear some oil on it.
  9. Fry it carefully turning in between, until they turn a nice color and have risen enough.
  10. Serve hot along with butter cubes and any low carb curry.
