Ingredients

  • 3 nos Ripe plantain
  • 1 cup Whole Wheat Atta
  • 1 tbsp Rice Flour
  • 1 tbsp Jaggery Powder
  • Turmeric Powder a pinch
  • 3/4 cup Water or as needed
  • Salt to taste
  • Coconut Oil/ Vegetable Oil to deep fry

Instructions

  • Peel the banana and slit it lengthwise.
  • In a bowl, add atta, rice flour, jaggery, salt, and turmeric powder.
  • Mix everything by adding water in it.
  • Dip the plantain slices in the batter and evenly coat them.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • When the oil is hot, deep fry the batter coated plantain slices by turning both sides till golden brown.
  • Once done remove it on the paper towel.
  • Serve hot along with a cup of tea, coffee or milk.
