4tbspFried Gram Dal
4nosGreen Chilli

To Temper:

2tspUrad Dal

12nosCurry Leaves

Instructions
Grind coconut along with chili, fried gram dal, green chili, small onion, salt and little water.
If you want you can add water after grinding to make it lose or thick chutney as per your preference.
Now heat oil in a small pan.
Once the oil is hot add mustard seeds to it.
Once the seeds start spluttering add curry leaves, whole red chili and urad dal.
Fry till the curry leaves become crisp and the red chili changes color.
Switch off the flame and immediately pour the tempering on the coconut chutney.
Mix everything well.
Serve coconut chutney along with idli, dosa, masala dosa, vada, upma or pongal.
