Cut the cauliflower in to small pieces. Dip the cauliflowers in hot water in a bowl. Add one spoon salt and ½ tsp turmeric powder and mix thoroughly. Keep it for few minutes then wash them thoroughly.
Peel, wash and cut the potato lengthwise. (similar to the finger chips)
Heat oil in a pan/wok, add panch phoran and let it splutter.
Once it starts spluttering add bay leaf, broken red chili and saute until brown.
Now add cauliflower, potato, turmeric and salt. Mix well.
Keep stirring in between, until it gets cooked and fried properly.
Once done switch off the flame.
Serve hot along with plain rice and dal, roti, puri or paratha.
