Rinse the millet in cold water until the water runs clear to remove any dust or grit.
Transfer the kodo millet in the strainer, draining excess water.
Keep the strainer in a bowl and let it sit for some time so that the water drains completely.
Now roast the kodo millet in a dry pan on low flame for about 5 minutes, stirring often until it turns a shade darker and releases a mild, nutty aroma.
Now in the same pan add peanut and dry roast on low flame. Let it cool down.
Now add kodo millet, peanut and cardamom in a mixer grinder jar and grind to a fine powder.
Now add powdered jaggery.
Add some chopped cashew (roasted in ghee). Mix well.
Add ghee to it. Mix well so that everything is well combined.
Now start preparing laddu using your hand.
So the healthy and delicious kodo millet laddu is ready to serve.
