Makhana Dry Fruits Namkeen Snack Recipe also known as fox nuts and lotus seeds is a healthy snack recipe that can be consumed on fasting during Navratri.
Heat a pan, add 2 Tbsp Ghee to it Then add few curry leaves and fry for few swconds. Add green chill and give it a quick stir.
Now add 1/4 cup Peanuts, 1/4 cup Cashew Nuts and 1/4 cup Almonds.
Fry all of these for 2-3 minutes or until you see the curry leaves have become crispy and nuts are slightly brown and toasted. (Keep stirring while roasting
Now take it out in a plate and set aside.
Now in the same pan add 1/4 cup Raisins to it and fry for few seconds and take it out in a plate and set aside.
Again in the same pan add makhana to it and fry stirring continuously, until it gets roasted and become crispy. Switch off the fkame.
Add the dry fruits mixture and fried raisins to it. Mix well.
Add 1/4 Tsp Black Pepper, 1/2 Tsp Rock Salt, and 1/2 Tsp Dry Mango Powder Powder and give everything a nice mix. So that everything is coated well to the makhana and nuts. (you can skip salt if you don't take salt during navratri).
So the instant Dry Fruit Makhana Namkeen is ready to be served now. You can store it in an airtight container, It stays good for a week or so.
