Masala Dal Recipe
This 30 Minutes Masala Dal recipe is an Authentic tasty Indian Spiced Lentils made with toovar dal or toor dal(pigeon pea lentils) and cooked with spices, tomatoes, onions, and garlic. It is a very flavorful and comforting dish.

Instructions
Add toovar dal and water in a pressure cooker and cook until done.
Now heat oil in a kadai, add mustard seeds.
When the seeds starts spluttering add cumin seeds.
Now add onion and fry until golden brown.
Then add ginger-garlic paste and green chilli, saute until the raw smell goes.
Then add chopped tomato and salt. Cook until translucent.
Then add turmeric powder, garam masala powder and garam masala powder.
Cook until the raw smell of masala goes off.
Now add cooked dal and water as needed. Mix well.
Add lots of chopped coriander leaves. Mix.
Your Masala dal is ready to serve.
Serve hot with plain rice or roti.
