Instant Paan Coconut Ladoos filled with dates and tutti fruity is the perfect sweet treat for Diwali! In fact, you only need 20 minutes to make this delicious Indian recipe! In this article, we will provide you with the step-by-step process on how to prepare Paan Coconut Ladoos at home.
Heat ghee in a pan on medium heat. Add freshly grated coconut and roast until the moisture of the coconut is dried (keep stirring while roasting).
Once done, take it out in a plate and let it cool down.
Now add the roasted coconut in a grinder jar and make a powder out of it. Set aside.
Next deseed dates and chop finely you can grind or mash also. Then add tutti frutti and mix well.
Add chopped paan leaves and condensed milk to a food processor. Pulse until both ingredients are well blended. Set aside.
Stir in the condensed milk-paan mixture to the coconut.
And start kneading, you will find the dough is sticky so at this point you need to add dessicated coconut. Add in as per the quantity mentioned above or as needed to make a firm dough.
Grease your hands with little ghee, take small portion from the coconut mixture, flatten it and add dates and tutti-fruitti mixture in the center.
Roll to form a ladoo by bringing the edges together.
Roll the prepared ladoo in dessicated coconut. Repeat the same process with the remaining ladoos.
Refrigerate the paan coconut ladoo and serve after sometime.
