For Aloo Masala
6Potatoboiled, mashed
2-3tbspCoriander Leavesfinely chopped
1tspGinger paste
1-2nosGreen Chillifinely chopped
1/4tspCumin seeds
1/ 4tspTurmeric Powder
1/2 tspRed Chilli Powder
1/4 tspGaram Masala Powder
1/2tspMango Powder

For the Batter
4cupGram Flour
1tspTurmeric Powder
Red Chilli Powderto taste
1tspCarom Seeds

Instructions
How to prepare Batter
In a bowl, take besan flour.
Add carom seeds, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt. Mix all the dry ingredients well.
Now add water little by little and prepare a thick batter. Set aside.
How to make Potato Masala
Peel the boiled potatoes and mash it well.
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan.
Add cumin seeds to it.
When the seeds starts spluttering add turmeric powder, green chilli and ginger. Saute for a while.
Now add garam masala and red chilli powder to it.
Saute for few seconds.
Now add chopped coriander leaves and give it a nice stir.
Add mashed potatoes, mango powder, and salt.
Mix all the ingredients really well and saute for 2 minutes.
So the stuffing is ready.
Now turn off the gas and take out the stuffing in a plate so that it gets cold.
How to make Bread Pakoda
Cut all the bread slices into triangular shape.
Spread potato mixture in one slice and cover it with another slice and press slightly so that the whole sandwich sticks together.
follow the same process for all the slices and set aside.
Heat some oil in a pan.
Coat the stuffed bread sandwich evenly with the besan batter. Ensure not to keep the stuffed bread sandwich for a long time in the batter as the bread tends to break. So the oil is hot now you can easily drop the besan batter coated bread sandwich in the oil.
Deep-fry on a medium heat till it turns crisp and golden brown in color from both the sides.
Serve Aloo Bread pakoda along with green chutney, fried green chillies and tomato ketchup.
Notes
The potatoes should be boiled really well.Mash the potato when they are still warm.Make sure the gram flour batter is not too drippy or too dense.Keep the flame medium while frying pakoras.
