Radish and Cucumber Salad Recipe – Step by Step Video

Yesterday was the arrival of a new member in our family. My brother-in-law’s wife delivered a baby boy. I was a little too busy with the cute baby. He was so cute, I just could not take my eyes off him. I felt like cuddling him tightly and loving him very much. But I could not do so because the time was up and we had to leave the hospital as per the hospital norms and rules.

At times I really think about the pace at which time passes. By the time we can enjoy things fully and cherish some of those beautiful moments…. boooooom.. the time has gone.

Yes, I am talking about myself. Yesterday when I was in the hospital holding a baby in my arms, I was just recollecting how I was holding my daughter 6 years back. Things were so different. At times I would wonder if I too, went through all these beautiful moments. Just Imagine those golden memories.

It is for a reason that a quote says “Live life to the fullest and cherish every moment in the present as a present”. Because those moments will never come back.

Oops, I forgot to tell some of the good stuff here. Yesterday night when I came back from the hospital and I was getting ready to put my daughter to sleep, I was bombarded with lots and lots of questions from my daughter. Can anybody guess what those questions would be????

I think some of you might have guessed but those who cannot then here we go……..

She started with the question, “Mamma, how does the baby come into the stomach?”, and I answered that the baby was god’s gift to us, it’s a kind of Magic!!!.

Then comes the next question, “How do the doctors took out the baby?” and it was followed by, “How do the doctors seal the stomach back? And then the questions just kept coming on and on as if I was at the other end of a rapid-fire quiz competition.

I was wondering as to what all might be going through her little mind and whether she is convinced with all the answers that I gave her.

After a few minutes, I asked her, “What happened, baby? What are you thinking?” She just nodded her head saying nothing. I could see the twinkle in her eyes, and sense that the confusing mind still had some more questions…

But then before she could ask any more question I started singing a lullaby and slowly she slept. And I was just smiling to myself thinking about all the questions she asked…….

Ok, I think I talked enough, and now I should jump on to the recipe…

Radish and Cucumber Salad Recipe

The recipe I am sharing today with you all is “Radish and Cucumber Salad Recipe“. This is a great way to eat lots of radishes and cucumbers in one meal. One thing I like about this recipe is the salad pasta dressing. I really like its flavor.

So whenever you are not in a mood to prepare the dressing for the salad you can easily use salad pasta dressing. It tastes really good.

And the addition of mint gives it a slightly minty flavor. I have used green chilies as well, in this radish and cucumber salad recipe, for the ones who like it a little spicy.
