About Dry Fruit Laddu Recipe:

During Navratri, many people fast and eat only certain types of foods. Each household has a different way of fasting—some avoid non-vegetarian food, some skip onion and garlic, some don’t use salt, and others avoid grains, etc.

During this festive time, people look for snacks that are filling, healthy, and easy to make. This healthy Dry Fruit Laddu is perfect for such days.

It is packed with energy-giving ingredients like makhana (fox nuts), almonds, cashews, and seeds, all of which are very nutritious.

The best part of this Dry fruit laddu Recipe is that it doesn’t use any artificial sugar or even jaggery.

It has the natural sweetness of dates and raisins, which means if you’re looking for a sweet treat that you can give to your family without feeling guilty, then this recipe is for you.

These dry fruit laddus are not only sweet but also healthy. My kids loved them, and now they keep asking for them all the time!

Making these sugar free dry fruit laddoo is super simple. You don’t need any fancy ingredients or too much time. Just a few basic ingredients like nuts, dates, and makhana, and that’s it—you’re good to go. You can easily make these in under 15 minutes.

These easy dry fruit laddoos are not only tasty but also full of nutrients. The nuts and seeds provide good fats, protein, and vitamins, while the dates and raisins add natural sweetness and fiber.

These ingredients make the laddus perfect for both kids and adults.

So, if you are fasting during Navratri or just looking for a healthy snack, these healthy dry fruit laddus will give you the energy you need without any added sugar.

Let’s jump straight into the recipe now!

Serving Suggestion:

Serve the Dry Fruit Laddus as a snack during the day when you need a quick energy boost.

They are great for kids as an after-school snack or for packing in their lunchbox.

You can also have them as an evening snack or for breakfast along with some fresh fruit and a glass of warm milk.

Storage Suggestion:

These dry fruit laddu stay fresh for a few days at room temperature and up to two weeks in the fridge.

But trust me, they’re so delicious that they’re likely to be gone before you know it!

You can also prepare a larger batch and refrigerate them for a few weeks, or freeze them for a couple of months to enjoy later.

Pro Tips:

Nuts: You can use any nuts, but make sure they are fresh and not stale or bitter. I usually go for easily available nuts like almonds, cashews, and pistachios. You can adjust the combination of nuts based on what’s available locally to you.

Dry Fruits: It’s important not to skip the dates as they help in binding the laddus and add natural sweetness, so you don’t need to add any sugar. Dates also bring in a lot of flavor, making the laddus taste even better.

Dates: I recommend using good-quality dates. If possible, use pitted dates as they are easier to chop. If your dates have seeds, make sure to remove the seeds before chopping.

Scaling: This laddu recipe can easily be doubled or tripled if you want to make a larger batch for festive occasions.

Use Ghee for Flavor: A small amount of ghee adds a rich flavor to the laddus and helps bind the mixture together. If you prefer, you can use coconut oil instead of ghee.

Why You Should Make This Sugar free Dry Fruit Laddoo:

Healthy and Nutritious: No added sugar or jaggery, only the natural sweetness of dates and raisins.

Quick and Easy: You can make these laddus in just 15 minutes, which is perfect for busy days when you want something healthy and quick.

Perfect for Fasting: These laddus are ideal for Navratri, as they are filling enough to keep you energized throughout the day.

Kid-Friendly: A great way to get your kids to eat more nuts and dry fruits without them even realizing it.

Full of Energy: These laddus are packed with healthy fats and protein, providing the energy you need to stay active all day.
