how to lose weight without starving

How many times in the past one year alone, have you gone on a diet to lose weight?

That’s a sensitive question and I am sure most of you would just not want to answer that question. It is not just you. It is me as well. I have been trying to lose weight for long now and most of my attempts only ended in my weighing scale telling me that I am back to where I was when I started dieting.

Puja had gained a lot of weight after pregnancy and she was frustrated with all of that. But she never lost cool and felt desperate to lose it and I would often be surprised at how normal she looked even when people told her that she has gained a lot of weight.

It was hence, that I was shocked when she came to me with a diet plan. I looked at her as if asking, “You! and a Weight Loss Plan”.

I had gained a lot of weight over 7 years of my marriage (thanks to a lot of tasty food that my dear wife keeps cooking and sharing with you all here on the blog). I was allergic to exercise or, so I kept telling me so that I can avoid any form of exercise. So my only resort was going on diet.

I jumped onto multiple weight loss programs, followed a lot of diet plans but nothing worked. Either I would gain back everything and more that I lost in the program or, I would just quit the diet in between because of the insecure feeling that if I follow the diet for one more day, I will starve to death.

So, when Puja came to me with the diet plan, I was like, “Huh. Diet plan? And that too to lose weight!”

But, she was determined. She was ready to go to any extent to lose all the weight she had gained. And she started. Being the loving husband I was (for god’s sake don’t think that’s self-appreciation), I decided to join her in her diet plan.

My calculations were simple – If I end up losing weight, that will be an achievement. And if I don’t, then at least I can prove my love for my wife.

And with that objective in mind, we started on our dieting journey on the 11th of August.

It went on for 3 weeks. We just couldn’t resist checking our weights everyday. But still we managed to push ourselves off from doing it everyday. Instead we checked our weight every 3 days.

Something that I felt new with this entire routine was the fact that I never felt like I was dieting. It was just my normal food except that I avoided too much of oil and fatty foods. I even ate twice at McDonalds.

On the 1st of September, we decided we will stop dieting. On the morning of September 1, we checked out weights and I was zapped. I had lost a whopping 10.6 kgs. I was feeling leaner and healthier.

I looked to Puja. She stepped on the weighing scale. A whole 11.3 kgs lesser than what she was when she started.

It was one heck of a diet plan. And the best part about it was –

  • It involved no starving
  • Your diet consisted of your normal daily food
  • No need of living on green vegetables
  • Fast weight loss

And the best part. We went on a controlled eating for the last 6 months and we haven’t gained even a single KG of weight.

You might be wondering as to what this diet plan is and how did we manage to lose 10 Kgs in 3 weeks.

If you are interested to know more about this diet plan and how to lose weight without starving, then you need to wait for some time. I am in the course of finishing a quick ebook with the entire diet plan and the steps involved and it will soon be available for download.
