This Apple Pomegranate Smoothie Recipe is a good and healthy recipe, especially for fuzzy kids who hate eating Apples and Pomegranates. You will find them asking for more..
After reading today’s post, you will start to feel that I am getting obsessed with this “waking early in the morning” thing. To some extent you are right, and the reason for it is because of the huge change that I am finding in myself because of this changed schedule. A more productive day and a better me is what I am discovering over the last few weeks.
And when there is something good that I am observing, wouldn’t be wrong to not share it with my friends and readers here?
So continuing on from where we left in my previous post and as promised, I would cover some of the secrets today on how you can wake up early and prepare yourself for a healthy lifestyle.
1. Try to achieve the smaller Goals First
When you decide to wake up early, the first and the foremost thing you have to keep in mind is to not jump on and do a lot of drastic changes in your routine, since you will not only get bored of your new routine rather it will also stop you from accomplishing a mission. So start slow and what I mean by saying this is that if you wake up each day at 7 am now, but your mission is to start waking up at 5 am each morning, then you have to go by the schedule given below and one day you would find yourself achieving your goal.
- First Week: Wake up each morning at 6:30 am
- Second Week: Wake up each morning at 6:00 am
- Third Week: Wake up each morning at 5:30 am
- Fourth Week: Wake up each morning at 5:00 am
2. Plan the Night Before
Most of the time it happens that we try to find ample excuses for not waking up early the next day as our mind will always try not to come out of the comfort zone. So to avoid that happening what we can do is to prepare or plan things a day in advance so that you can achieve your goals easily. And for that you have to:
- Fix on what you are going to do
- After you set an alarm to keep your clock/phone out of the reach of the bed so you have to get out of the bed to turn it off
- Keep your tea/coffee ready to go
- Keep it simple and it can make a huge difference.
3. Have a Mission & Don’t get bewildered
Before you sleep at night just plan your next morning as in what is the first thing you are going to do for the first hour of the morning. Just do one thing like (Yoga, meditation, reading, writing or anything that makes you happy and more productive) so you don’t struggle every day. And this way slowly this routine will become your habit. Keep it simple and do not plan so many things initially.
4. Stop Hitting the Snooze Button
You snooze… you loose, so stop doing that. Snooze button will never let you accomplish your goal. So don’t delay the things that need to be done. Life wants you to get out of the bed and do what is right.
5. Don’t start with unproductive things
Since the day smart phones came into our lives I think the first thing most of the people do in the morning is that they check what is going on in the world. Of course, I am talking about checking what’s app, facebook, emails and so on. I was also not any different 🙂 but now I completely stopped doing all that and trust me it saves me a lot of my time in the morning. So here when I talk about waking up early in the morning, it means to wake up for yourself, not for others.
So that’s it for today I will discuss some more points later so keep reading my blog posts.
Now let quickly get straight onto today’s recipe…..
Apple Pomegranate Smoothie Bowl Recipe
The idea of this apple pomegranate smoothie recipe came to my mind because of my daughter. She would make all kind of faces whenever I would push a bowl of apples or, pomegranates in front of her.
She absolutely loved drinking milk and she also loved shakes. I wanted to check if she will like it, if I serve apples and pomegranates along with milk and that is where I thought of this recipe.
This smoothie tastes really good and for people who love smoothies, this apple pomegranate smoothie recipe will be a nice addition to their list of smoothies.
