Energy Bites Recipe

About Energy Bites Recipe:

These days numerous videos are being circulated online about how unhealthy substitutes are used in sweet recipes.

This is primarily because of the high demand and the shortage of raw materials.

This might not be true for all vendors, but many resort to these methods.

And this is alarming.

Have you ever thought about what goes into those sweets that you buy? Probably not. Who has time to delve into all of those things? We trust our sweet vendors and buy all the sweets that we need.

But, this is not right. I just wanted to caution you all to be aware of what you are buying especially during festival seasons when the demand is very high.

With that out of the way let us get onto today’s recipe, which is a sweet that you can easily make at home..

Marie Biscuits No Bake Energy Bites is a tasty and healthy sweet that you would want to try not just during festivals but also as a general energy bite.

It can be just another way you can avoid buying adulterated sweets as well.

This recipe is very simple to make and is very healthy too aside from the fact that we are using Marie biscuits. It has peanut butter, honey, and sesame seeds.

This can be a good tiffin recipe for your kids as well.

So, let us jump straight into the recipe…

Serving Suggestion:

This recipe can be used as a quick energy booster because it has peanut butter and honey in it both of which gives you energy.

They’re great for kids’ lunch boxes too.

Storage Suggestion:

Refrigerator: Store these energy bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They stay fresh for up to 3-4 days.
On-the-Go: If you’re packing them in a lunchbox, wrap each bite individually in parchment paper to prevent them from sticking together.

Pro Tips for Protein Bites:

Adjust Sweetness: If you prefer a sweeter taste, add a little extra honey or a pinch of powdered sugar to the mixture.

Custom Coating Options: You can roll the bites in other toppings for variety! You can try chia seeds, flaxseeds, or even cocoa powder for a different flavor profile.

Nut Butter Varieties: Feel free to swap out peanut butter for almond or cashew butter to change up the taste or for those with peanut allergies.

Binders: If the mixture seems too crumbly, add a little more melted peanut butter to help bind it better.

Add-Ins: Boost nutrition by mixing in chopped nuts, dried fruits like raisins or cranberries, or a sprinkle of protein powder for extra energy.

Why You Should Make this Marie Biscuit Energy Bites Recipe:

Nutritious and Energizing: These energy bites are packed with protein, fiber, and healthy fats, thanks to peanut butter, honey, and sesame seeds. They offer a natural energy boost without the need for processed sugars or artificial ingredients.

Quick and No-Cook: This is a no-fuss, no-cook recipe that comes together in just minutes.

Kid-Friendly: The mild, sweet flavor and chewy texture make these bites enjoyable for kids and adults alike. Plus, they’re highly customizable; you can add dried fruits, different seeds, or even a dash of chocolate for variety.

Great for On-the-Go: These bites are easy to carry and great for lunchboxes, a quick snack at work, or before and after workouts. You can grab them quickly, making them perfect for a busy lifestyle.

Longer Shelf Life: They stay fresh in the fridge for days and can even be frozen for later use. This makes them an excellent make-ahead snack that you can keep on hand whenever you need a quick, healthy option.

Simple Ingredients: Made with common pantry ingredients like Marie biscuits, honey, and peanut butter, you likely already have what you need at home. It’s budget-friendly and accessible for everyone.

Basic Ingredients Used to Make this Recipe:

Marie Biscuit Powder: This forms the base of the bites, adding a light sweetness and a bit of crunch. It helps hold the shape of each bite.

Peanut Butter: Peanut butter is full of protein and healthy fats, making the bites filling and nutritious. It also helps bind everything together and adds a nice nutty flavor.

Honey: Honey provides natural sweetness and acts as a sticky binder to hold the bites together. It’s a healthier alternative to sugar.
