Instant whipped cream and berries recipe is an instant low carb diet recipe that also substitutes as a dessert.
I was always against dieting and I am sure you could imagine the reason behind this. I was a complete foodie who liked trying different foods. But being a foodie did not mean that I would overeat and hog. I always followed controlled eating. I was actually a kind of a foodie who loved trying different recipes.
During college, I used to see people going on diets and I used to see them eating all those foods that they never liked.
I would wonder as to how people could even think of dieting and I used to tell myself “I will never diet. We get one life and we should eat what we love. ” 🙂
Not only that I would advise people that we should rather follow an exercising routine than going on the strict diet.
But some things are not meant to happen the way we want it to.
Just after 3 years of marriage, I became pregnant and I put on a lot of weight. Due to some restrictions, I was also told that post pregnancy I shouldn’t do any exercise immediately. And hence, I gained, even more, weight.
Eventually, I had to decide to go on a diet. For the first time, I went on a diet called the “GM Diet”. It was one difficult thing to do, though I lost a lot of weight.
After a month, I have gained all the weight again. That’s when I decided on going on the “Low carb diet”.
During my low carb diet, I made a lot of yummy low carb dishes which included the main course, snacks, and drinks.
Trust me this time I enjoyed my diet.
You know why?
Because for the first time, I loved all the low carb food that I made during the diet and at the same time, I also lost a lot of weight.

Dieting actually works when you want to lose weight quickly. But once you have done dieting, it is important that you balance your diet, eat healthy food, exercise regularly and make it your lifestyle. If you don’t do that, all of the dietings that you went through will be in vain.
So today I am sharing one of that recipe which I prepared during my dieting period and that is called “Instant Whipped Cream and Berries Recipe”. This is a very simple low carb dessert. It tastes delicious and takes only a few minutes to prepare.
Instant Whipped Cream and Berries Recipe
This recipe is a low carb-high fat recipe. We are using whipped cream in this one which has a lot of fat in it. And since we are starving our body of carbohydrates, we are substituting the energy requirements with fat in our diet.
This dessert tastes really good and if you add a few peanuts to it, the crunchiness feels and tastes even better.
We have used strawberries in this recipe but you can use any berry. We would recommend not using berries that are very sweet because these will have high quantity of sugar in it which in a carbohydrate that we want to avoid, for sure.

- Fresh Strawberries - 1 cup
- Whipping cream - 2/3 cup
- Vanilla extract - 1/4 teaspoon
- Peanuts - 1 teaspoon
- Whip the heavy cream till it becomes fluffy.
- Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
- Now add some peanuts and mix.
- Cut strawberries in to halves and serve along with this yummy cream.
