Soyabeans Curry|How to make soyabean Curry

As everybody knows soyabean  is a great source of protein for those who are vegetarians. Try this recipe made from soyabean and i will come come up with many more such and different varieties of soyabean recipes.

soyabean curryIngredients :-

  • Soyabean – 1 cup (soaked overnight)
  • Green Chilly – 2-3 (chopped finely)
  • Onion – 3 large (chopped finely)
  • Tomatoes – 4 large (chopped finely)
  • Ginger-garlic paste – 4 tsp
  • Coriander powder – 2 tbsp
  • Cumin powder – 1 tbsp
  • Chicken masala- 2 tsp
  • Garam masala powder – 1tsp
  • Red chilli powder – 1 tsp (adjust the quantity as per your taste)
  • Turmeric powder- 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves- handful (chopped)
  • Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds – 2 tsp
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Black Cardamom – 1
  • Cinnamon stick – 1 piece (small)
  • Bay leaf – 2

soyabean curryMethod :-

  • Clean and wash soyabeans and keep it aside.
  • Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add cumin seeds, bay leaf, cardamom, and cinnamon.
  • Once the seeds starts crackling add onion, green chilli,turmeric powder and salt and fry till it becomes golden brown.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and fry till the raw smell goes.
  • Now add tomatoes and keep stirring it for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Now add coriander powder, cumin powder, chicken masala powder, red chilli powder and garam masala powder and mix well.
  • Fry till the oil gets separated from the mixture.
  • Now put soyabean and add water as per required.
  • Close the cooker and cook until done.
  • Once the ingredients are cooked remove the cooker from heat and allow it to cool naturally.
  • After some time open the cooker and add some chopped coriander leaves and stir.
  • Your soyabean curry is now ready to be serve.
  • Serve hot with plain rice or roti.
