As everybody knows soyabean is a great source of protein for those who are vegetarians. Try this recipe made from soyabean and i will come come up with many more such and different varieties of soyabean recipes.
- Soyabean – 1 cup (soaked overnight)
- Green Chilly – 2-3 (chopped finely)
- Onion – 3 large (chopped finely)
- Tomatoes – 4 large (chopped finely)
- Ginger-garlic paste – 4 tsp
- Coriander powder – 2 tbsp
- Cumin powder – 1 tbsp
- Chicken masala- 2 tsp
- Garam masala powder – 1tsp
- Red chilli powder – 1 tsp (adjust the quantity as per your taste)
- Turmeric powder- 1 tsp
- Coriander leaves- handful (chopped)
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Cumin seeds – 2 tsp
- Salt – as per taste
- Black Cardamom – 1
- Cinnamon stick – 1 piece (small)
- Bay leaf – 2
- Clean and wash soyabeans and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add cumin seeds, bay leaf, cardamom, and cinnamon.
- Once the seeds starts crackling add onion, green chilli,turmeric powder and salt and fry till it becomes golden brown.
- Add ginger garlic paste and fry till the raw smell goes.
- Now add tomatoes and keep stirring it for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Now add coriander powder, cumin powder, chicken masala powder, red chilli powder and garam masala powder and mix well.
- Fry till the oil gets separated from the mixture.
- Now put soyabean and add water as per required.
- Close the cooker and cook until done.
- Once the ingredients are cooked remove the cooker from heat and allow it to cool naturally.
- After some time open the cooker and add some chopped coriander leaves and stir.
- Your soyabean curry is now ready to be serve.
- Serve hot with plain rice or roti.
