Coconut Chutney for Masala Dosa

Ingredients:-

  • Cashew nuts – 20 grams
  • Chopped ginger – 1 piece
  • Chopped coriander – 1 springs
  • Chopped green chilli – 2 piece
  • Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Curry leaves – 1 springs
  • Grated coconut – 1 full
  • Asafoetida – a pinch
  • Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
  • Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Red chillI – 3 piece
  • Salt – a pinch
  • Tamarind paste – 1 tbsp
  • Urad dal washed – 1 tbsp

Method:-

  1. Mix all the ingredients like coconut, ginger, green chillies, cashew, tamrind, salt and put in a blender and make a fine paste.
  2. Now take a pan and pour some oil than add mustard seeds,when the seeds starts spluttering add red chilli, cumin, urad dal, hing and curry leaves and fry for few seconds.
  3. Now top it on chutney and serve wirh masala dosa.
  4. It goes well with Idli also.
