Finally, I shed all my fear and inhibitions and here is my first cooking video.
I have been thinking of creating cooking videos for quite some time now. But every time, I would plan for it, the sheer thought of facing the camera would stop me from proceeding with the plan. Not that I have not made videos in the past. When I started my internet marketing career, I used to promote a lot of affiliate offers and for that I used to create a lot of videos. But in none of those videos, did I face the camera. And that was where the problem was.
But, it was yesterday.. When I just decided I should do it and here it is.
The result was this recipe video on how to make Malpua. While it might not be a perfect video, it was still a good one to start off with. What say?
So, that is another addition to what we had planned for this year. We are in the process of setting up a studio and an office. But it will take some time. Until then, I will have to manage with whatever I have.
There is something that I need to tell you all. I let out a huge sigh after I had finished off with the recording. But once I was done, I felt a sense of accomplishment, as if I had scaled something that I never thought I would.
It is important that you just go and do it. If there is something you think you want to do, don’t waste time thinking about the process. Just start off and you will realize that the process just falls into place. You might think this as a disorganized way of approaching it. You might be right. But the fact is that, where there is an inherent wish to do something, the process involved is the conviction and nothing else.
So, if you have been planning to do something for some time now, today is the day. Just go and do it and you will be satisfied that you saved another day for something else.
