About Milk Powder Peda Recipe:

Before I jump on to today’s recipe let me share with you, a very interesting story that I think can surely inspire you to make this recipe.

This story is about how I came across this quick peda recipe. And the story goes like THIS….

A few years ago while everyone was getting ready for a Diwali party including me with lots of delicacies. Suddenly I remembered that I had forgotten something very important.

With lots of work and busy schedules, I got so overwhelmed that I forgot to make some sweets to offer during Puja and of course my guests.

And I was like, what now?

One of my friends was observing me very closely and asked me

what was wrong with you my dear. Why are you looking so worried?

I explained the reason for my worry.

She just smiled and asked, “Do you have milk powder at home?”

I just nodded yes…

And she was like, “Wow that’s great. then the problem is solved.”

“Just show me your kitchen, give me 10 minutes and the milk powder.”

believe me in just 10 minutes, with just a handful of ingredients she was ready with creamy delicious peda to offer in pooja and also to impress my guest.

The pedas were a big hit in my family and also liked by my guests too.

Guess what?

They were surprised to know how this delicious dessert came together in just 10 minutes, and everyone asked me the recipe for peda.

With that experience I learned something very important “‘ even during the busiest times, it’s possible to create something special and delightful if you want to”

Since then Milk Powder Peda has become my go-to recipe whenever I need a quick Indian dessert.

This instant milk peda recipe is best for a school event for the kids, a last-minute dinner party, or a festive celebration. They are not only easy to make but also bring back beautiful memories of Diwali. I feel nostalgic for that simple act of friendship and that quick recipe idea that solved my problem.

This recipe for making milk peda with milk powder is very easy. It does not take much time – only about 10 minutes. These sweet milk pedas taste very good but are simple to make. You only need a few basic ingredients.

The recipe uses regular milk powder that we have at home. With just some sugar, ghee, and cardamom powder, you can make soft, crumbly pedas in no time.

Serving Suggestion:

These Milk Powder Pedas are great as a dessert after meals or as a snack any time of the day. These Milk Powder Pedas are also perfect for packing in your kids’ lunch boxes or snack boxes. They’re easy to make and are a sweet treat your kids will love during their school day.

Storage Suggestion:

You can store these tasty peda in an airtight container at room temperature if you plan to consume them within a week. For longer storage, I would advise, refrigerating them, and simply letting them come to room temperature before serving for the best flavor and texture.

Pro Tips:

When you are making these instant milk powder pedas, be careful about the flame. Keep the flame medium, not very high. If the flame is too high, the peda mixture can stick to the pan.

Keep cooking and stirring the peda mixture until it forms a ball shape. If you don’t cook it enough and it doesn’t become a ball, the pedas will not set properly. They will remain sticky instead of becoming firm.

Allow the mixture to cool slightly before shaping the pedas; this makes the shaping easier and prevents the pedas from cracking.

In my case, this time pedas came out smooth except few which I tried making without letting the mixture cool.

Because my kiddo was craving to have some sweets and I could not resist making a few for her immediately. (but even if there are some cracks you find simply ignore and enjoy pedas, because shapes will not make any difference in taste). 🙂

Why You Should Make This Recipe:

This Milk Powder Peda recipe is not just about making some sweets. It’s about creating moments, and memories, even on your busiest days. I think you must try this recipe. And once you try this, do let me know how it turned out for you.

  1. Perfect for any occasion
