Instant Mango Ice Cream Recipe is a creamy and healthy ice cream. This recipe is made with just two ingredient and does not require any Ice-Cream maker.
Remember? I was talking about “stay home stay safe” in my previous post.
But does that mean that you should stop enjoying life, especially when you don’t see any improvement in the COVID-19 situation, as in when this will all end?
And I know, Demand for social distancing and stay at home orders is making most of you feeling crazy, probably the feeling of getting stuck somewhere with no option left. Aren’t you?
Many of you must be looking for some new activities or projects you can do while staying home.
Today, I will give you some ideas and activities you can try and do along with your family, during this pandemic.
These are some of those activities, I too am doing at home, to keep myself and my family energized, engaged and active.
So let’s get into these –
Don’t get me wrong here, my intention through this post is not to tell you to do cleaning all the time. But yes, I would definitely mention cleaning your house everyday as the first thing.
Divide the work between all the members so that cleaning work can be done in no time. Cleaning is important because if your surrounding is clean you feel happy, motivated and energized.
Set up a nice seat in your backyard or front porch or, even in your balcony and do some workout, yoga or mudra while enjoying the scenery and the plants in your balcony.
Encourage everyone in your family to do so. Enjoy a nice walk inside your house, rather than making an excuse of not being able to walk these days because you can’t go outside.
3) Have a spa day for hair or, skin treatment
This pandemic is really stressful for everyone. But it’s important to take care of yourselves and of course everybody else in house. You can probably plan a day when everyone in the family can give service to each other.
Like giving massage and doing facial for each other with some homemade face mask.
Make an atmosphere and play some soothing music of your choice.
Just disconnect from everything for a few hours, take a little time to relax, go for at-home treatment that can be done with items in your kitchen. You can also light some candles around you to make spa day more beautiful.
4) Play Games
Playing games along with your family is an excellent way to have fun at home. You can play some board games along with everyone. You can even try brainvita which is a very addictive game.
You can also make some beautiful projects with building blocks. My daughter is really good at it.
Blocks are a great way of showing your creativity. Puzzles is another thing you can try.
You can also play Dumb Charades, which is another interesting game to save you from boredom! Dumb Charades is a word guessing name and can add lots of excitement and fun. You can involve as many members as you want.
5) Fashion Day or costume day
Plan a day for you and your family, when you can wear something different and showing talent at home. You can choose any movie character, cartoon character or any avatar of God.Style yourself or your kid that way, have some photo shoot. Trust me you would really enjoy it.
6) Photo Shoot Day
We have not been going outside and hence we haven’t been getting a chance to click some nice pictures this year. But should we wait to go out for a photo shoot?
We still can do this during our stay at home. Like you can pick some outfits, wear them and take some family pictures. Make some funny faces and take some selfies or some individual shots.
7) Picnic at Balcony
Pre plan things, Set up some nice and innovative arrangement, cook variety of good food together in the morning, pack food the way you do while you go for outdoor picnic and plan your dinner at balcony.
Trust me just having variety in your family life can bring the family closer.
8 ) Movie night
Movie night is another option you can plan in between. Preferably, plan for back to back movies. Pick movies which everyone can enjoy together.
And do not forget to arrange some popcorn, nachos or some snacks which can keep you awake (joke intended) while watching movie.
Honestly speaking, I am not a movie buff and whenever I sit and watch a movie, I start feeling sleepy.
So I think munching some snack while watching movies can really help.
9) Music Night
I guess music is something everyone loves. There is this game called “Antakshari” that you all might be well aware off. I love playing antakshari since childhood.
It’s really an interesting game and can keep everybody engaged for a longer period. Hey you don’t have to be a singer for that. Just play and enjoy.
10) Album Day
Take out all the albums from your childhood till now and relive those moments together.
And if you don’t have hard copies, you might have some pictures on your computer or on your mobile phone, gather them all in one place, on a computer maybe and connect your computer to your television and watch it together. It’s really great fun.
11) Research your Family Root
Have you ever wanted to explore your family history, if not then take advantage while you can. Learn all you can about them. Because there is no better time than now.
Start Reading everyday. By doing that you will learn new things every. If you don’t have book, read valuable things online. Frankly, speaking even I don’t read much. But Dilip always keeps pushing me to get into the habit of reading.
Dancing is also a great way to get rid of boredom. Play some dancing numbers and shake your body. Tell your kids also to do the same. Dancing can increase your flexibility, self confidence and it is the best way to stay fit.
14) Art and Crafts
Last but not the least. Bring out your talent. Do some DIY Crafts, make something decorative for your house using waste material. No need to go outside to buy things to make something. Just make something with whatever is available in your house.

2 Ingredient Instant Mango Ice cream Recipe
Instant Mango Ice Cream recipe require just two ingredients. It’s very simple and easy to make recipe. To make this Ice Cream you don’t require any gadgets other than the fridge and the mixer.
This Recipe recipe is a combination of real mango fruit and milk powder hence this ice cream is much healthier than any other ice creams since there is no sugar, additives, preservatives added to it.
This Instant Mango Ice cream recipe does not use fresh cream or even condensed milk but still comes out so good that you would be amazed with the result.
2 Ingredient Instant Mango Ice Cream Recipe
- 1 Mango large ripe
- 3 tbsp Milk Powder
- Peel and dice the mango into small cubes.
- In a mixer jar, add the mango cubes and blend until you get the smooth consistency.
- Now add milk powder to it.
- Blend it again on a high speed, until you get the consistency of soft serve ice-cream.
- Pour into lao pola cup and freeze. (you can use moulds or disposable cup here)
- I add ice-cream sticks after about 1/2 hour after freezing so the sticks stay upright.
- To easily remove ice-cream when ready to eat, run the Popsicle mold under warm water for a few seconds, then gently twist off.
