For years we have been reading “Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy wealthy and wise”. But do we even follow this?
No, I think most of us don’t. And for this, we might just want to blame our unhealthy lifestyle, which I believe, is the foremost reason for being less productive and less energetic.
If we talk about all those highly successful people, they all had one thing in common, they woke up early.
Don’t take me wrong here, I am not pointing at least, to those Mother’s who have been waking up daily at 6′ o clock to prepare breakfast and get their kids ready for school. And how can I, because I too am one of them…hahaha 🙂 But waking up early to just get your kids ready and finish your normal house chores will not make any difference in your life. At least not in your health or, in your productivity for sure.
What I mean to say is that if you try to sleep a little early and wake up an hour earlier than usual and do only things that you like or makes you happy or devote time doing some exercises or yoga would really make a huge difference in your life. Hard to believe, But I can challenge you that it actually works, just try it only for one day and you would yourself see the difference.
The reason why I am telling you all this is, because today I woke up early in the morning at around 5’o clock. This was after a spending a lot of time thinking that I would do something for myself or, something that makes me feel good.
Of course, other than yoga or workout, the one thing that I like the most is blogging. So I set a target last day to sleep early and wake up early. I woke my hubby also up. He too loves blogging, he blogs on “Internet Marketing”. You can read a lot of tips and tricks about blogging and internet marketing on his blog dkspeaks.com.
Now back to the point. We went into the kitchen, made a strong ginger tea along with a few slice of bread toast for us.
And the next 3-4 hours were miraculous for us.
We were able to finish more work than usual. I finished writing a post in just 20 minutes, whereas normally, I would take hours to finish one post. There were many reasons to it. But the primary one was a lack of concentration. And this lack of concentration would lead to a lot of unproductive gaps.
But when you wake up early morning you find peace everywhere, your mind is free and you tend to focus more on what you do.
Trust me, it really works and I am the example for this… 🙂
I know it is difficult to wake up early morning especially on Saturday’s or, Sunday’s which is the day we all pick to sleep a little more. But trust me on this. If you sleep a little earlier on a Saturday night, you should be able to wake up much earlier on Sunday morning and that too much more refreshingly than other days.
That’s a lot about sleeping early and waking early. I think I should now jump onto the recipe for today.

Aloo Chat Recipe
When it comes to chat, Delhi is the first city that comes to my mind. Delhi is a foodie’s paradise. You will find a huge variety of food in Delhi. Delhi is one such place where you will also find chaat items in every street and every corner. Though I am not claiming that the chaat items are made only in Delhi, but of course I can say that you would find more variety of chaat items in Delhi than any other city. It could be just my experience until now. What do you all think????
By the way, do you guys love chaat? It could be any kind of chat which has a slight tangy sour and spicy taste? “Chatpata Chaat” let me keep it simple right?
Well if you are chaat lovers and if you are fond of potatoes than I am sure you would love the recipe which I am sharing today with you all. It is called “Chatpata Aloo Chat recipe”.
Aloo Chaat Recipe
- Potatoes - 4 medium boiled
- Oil - to deep fry
- Tamarind chutney - 5 tsp
- Green chutney - 5 tsp
- Jeera powder cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
- Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
- Aamchoor powder - 1/2 tsp
- Chaat masala powder - 1/2 tsp
- Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Lemon juice - 2 tsp
- Black salt - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Peel the boiled potatoes and cut them into medium sized pieces. Set aside.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add potato pieces in oil to deep fry.
- Fry until they become crisp and brown in color.
- Take out in a plate, soak extra oil with absorbent paper.
- Now in a mixing bowl add all the spices, lemon juice, tamarind chutney, green chutney. Mix well.
- Add black salt and salt as per your taste and mix.
- Now add the deep fried potatoes to the mixture and mix everything well.(You can add spices or chutney as per your taste)
- Serve immediately when it is hot.
